OPERATION CHRONUS
REPORT - 01
Our theory sprang from a deep interest in Space and Time, why does Time have such a tight, powerful control over, as it seems, everything in existence? Why does It have such a control over us? Can we not move through it freely?
No, it is quite apparent that we can not! But I want to have this ability, the Lab shares this desire, we all do, then we say we will!
Initially, during the current stage, we had a thought - why are we bound by time to such a great extent, but, as it seemed, not so much by Space. Our first idea came from the normal view on Space-Time, an axis, as you all know, where Y represents Time, and X, which represents Space, it seemed, that we could manipulate Space however we wanted to, we can, with our own bodies, move around freely in, what we call space, we can send rockets into Space, we can, and could, as the human race, technically, go to the other side of the Universe, we just don't have the sufficient resources, nor the speed to fulfil such an arduous task. So the coagulation of the genius minds at the Lab, came up with the theory, dubbed 'The Axel Theory' - We theorised, if we, in some way or another, stopped our apparent manipulation of Space and our very existence in it, then we would have the greatly desired ability to manipulate time, or at least move in it, freely.
A problem then made itself apparent to the Lab. It came to our attention, that we, as human beings, have no true control or a manipulative quality over Space, we can move in it, of course, but we can not manipulate it to whatever our whims may be. Why? You may be pondering, why? The very reason is as follows: It is solely because we live in Space, we reside in that 3 Dimensional universe we refer to as 'Space'. Don't understand yet? Well, if I were to draw a 2D shape, for example, a square, on a piece of paper, thereafter if I was to cut it out, I would come to the realisation that I can manipulate that 2D shape without a single restriction. I, or we, can see the entire square, we are outside of it, and we know all about it from the outside, therefore we can manipulate it. If we, now, look at a 3D shape, like a box, the same applies, we are outside of said box, therefore it can be manipulated. But, if a rat, for example, was trapped inside the box, it could do nothing, it knows nothing about the outside, and it completely bound by the boxes walls, therefore there is absolutely no chance the rat can manipulate the box. We are like the rat, the Universe, the Box. We are in the Universe so we can not control it, nor can we manipulate it. Yet in all of this, we know we can manipulate a 2D Shape, Why? Because we are in a higher, or more superior Universe, the 3D Universe. So, how can we manipulate the 3D Universe, or Space, which was our initial goal? By going to a universe more superior to the 3D Universe! Let's call it the 4D Universe, for the sake of continuity. But, how could that be made into a possibility? Let us look back to the 2D Shape, how can that be changed into the next, higher, more superior universe or Space, it must, of course, be changed into a 3D Shape. Now, how would we do that? It is simple! We would just have to fold the 2D Shape into itself. It is done! We know have a 3D shape!
You see! A 2D Universe can be changed into a 3D Universe. So why can the 3D Universe not be changed into a 4D Universe? The Lab believes it is possible. How? We will first assume that the folding of 2D into 3D also applies to our 3D universe. If we were to 'fold' our 3D universe, would it lead to some sort of way into a 4D universe, with this statement, the Lab definitely agrees.
Now, we move onto how it will be possible to 'fold' the 3D fabric of our universe, many of the Lab members have said a black hole would have to be used, due to the extremely strong gravitational pull of the black holes, but the black hole, which we have theorised would open a Dimensional Pathway into a 4D Universe, would be stopped by Gravity attempting to close it, so how would it be kept open? Exotic Matter? Anti-Matter? Or can Mini Black Holes be used instead?
There are still many questions, and many factors to explore, such as how could an actual black hole be utilised to bend the fabric of the 3D Universe? Or how can a Dimensional Pathway really be sustained? Or is the 4D Universe even real? And what are the properties of said 4D Universe? There are still many questions that are yet to be answered, but the Lab will find those answers, and the goals of Operation Chronus will be fulfilled!
